The Wild Side Festival is a weekend of activities and incorporates “Walk on the Wild Side” walks and talks

It Offers FREE guided walks through the spectacular wildflowers and natural environment surrounding the Hawks Nest area.

The weekend includes:

· “talks” (short seminars) about local koalas and birdlife

· evening spotlighting and stargazing walk (koala spotting etc)

· Free Hawks Nest Heritage Tour by minibus

 

The Wallamba Festival Ferry” service will be operating from Nelson Bay, which will be met by a free community bus to take you to the actions in Hawks Nest. Festival Ferry Tickets are available from Cruise Booking Agency, Port Stephens Boat Hire and Port Stephens Visitor Information Centre.

All the shops in Hawks Nest will be open and the cafes and restaurants look forward to serving you with a delicious variety of food and drinks.

The Myall U3A Art Exhibition will be held in the Community Hall all weekend and the Village Markets will be held on Saturday from 8am in Tea Gardens.
