The flora or fauna must be Native to the Myall Coast area.

¨ FLORA: No garden plants, weeds or other introduced species

¨ FAUNA: No pets, farm animals or other introduced species

¨ Fauna DOES include native insects, spiders /fish etc.

 

For the purpose of this competition we define the Myall Coast area as the distribution area of the Myall Coast Messenger

 

Anyone including a visitor to the area can submit the maximum permitted number of entries but as above the photo must be of native flora and fauna from the Myall Coast area and taken no more

than 12 months before the deadline 28th September 2016.

Monster Flora and Fauna Photo Competition is on again this year 2016

¨ Four winners will have their photos printed on a mounted canvas frame

¨ Two entry divisions - Primary School students and Adults (amateurs only, please)

¨ Two categories in each division - Myall Coast Native Flora and Myall Coast Native Fauna

¨ MAXIMUM number of photos per person is four (4)

¨ Digital photos 1 Megabyte or larger taken in the last 12 months may be sent to the Myall Coast Messenger - myallcoastmessenger@gmail.com 

 

 

Entries will be judged by local photographer Christian Patteson

Entries close 5pm on Wednesday 28 September 2016 and

results will be announced on Friday 30th September at 2pm

 

 

We would particularly like to encourage ALL the local primary schools, including

Tea Gardens Public School, Karuah Public School, Bulahdelah Central School, St Josephs School Bulahdelah and Medowie Christian School to submit entries.

 

A display of selected photos and the winners will be on display

from 2pm Friday 30th September until Sunday 9th October
